Discover the northern skies

My Area - it's not THAT far!

Round trip in a day.

From Lake Ontario to cottage country ... head north on the 400!

Why did we invest in the Highlands area?

When you buy a home, you’re not just buying a physical structure. You’re buying into the neighbourhood. The land, the scenery and the sheer space all change your outlook. The types of people who live there, the local shops, the parks, swimming pools and restaurants all contribute to the overall feel of the area, and make it distinct from other neighbourhoods.

Sounds Familiar
Born in Toronto, raised in Streetsville, Mississauga, then graduated from U of T were all pretty standard events - until a new development led me to the far far away land of Temiskaming Shores.  Having had background in Property Management it seemed a good idea to further my professional career in the Real Estate direction. After a few years it was then, back to Mississauga and beyond and since 2005, real estate has been a huge part of my work-life journey. During this time, my little family and I enjoyed a beautiful decade in Oakville where my husband and I raised the kiddies. But wait>>>>  now we are back in the north in Muskoka and Parry Sound. What an incredible place to live ~ work ~ and continue to raise the family. The common thread is the love of exploration and experience.
I have helped numerous families find their true "home-match"... and I have been to many places between the GTA and the North! Have fun and keep discovering!

Hobby Farm Country

Get your hands in the dirt

"In the woods, we return to reason and faith."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

What we've been up to these last few weeks....

We love the fall garlic plant, making sauerkraut and boiling down the summer's bounty into jars of country mashed vegetable sauce or satarash!

Hauling in the mashed grape juice to make homemade vino and tucking away cured root veggies into the cold room.

Hens are still laying and the cows are enjoying the last bits of green pasture before the long winter drops down on the Almaguin Highlands Area.

Taking nothing for granted, and counting one's blessings many times a day, as hobby farmers, we thank the good Lord for every single sunny blessing and even the hard days are accepted with a nod of understanding and humble surrender.

and again I quote some amazing words:

“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson
